Change Portfolio Benefits Manager: circa £45,000 Manchester

For a global organisation, we are recruiting a Project Manager for the Global Portfolio Change Benefits Programme. Reporting to the Global Portfolio Office Manager, this role will provide effective benefits management, including advising on tracking non-financial benefits. This role will contribute to the improvement and standardisation of Portfolio, Programme and Change management practices across the Global Change portfolio.

Main Duties:

  • Raise the level of professionalism of portfolio management and the performance of the programmes in the change portfolio
  • Demonstrate best practice regarding benefits management and ensuring benefits are realised
  • Build capability and confidence in benefits management across the organisation
  • Put in place a sustainable model for measuring and reporting on non-financial benefits
  • Work across colleagues in IT, HR, Finance, Strategy, Performance and Insight and Global Change to strengthen approach to benefits management
  • Establish key processes and define minimum standards to ensure a sustainable approach to achieve the benefits and outcomes from the Change Portfolio
  • Review and develop the Portfolio Benefits Management Framework and set out benefits life-cycle, define minimum standards
  • Create tools and templates for use by programme teams
  • Support the transition of benefits to BAU
  • Provide training and coaching to business leaders on how to measure change benefits

Person Specification:

  • Experience in a programme or portfolio management office
  • Experience of global and multi-regional change programmes
  • Experience of benefits management for a variety of different programmes
  • Experience designing benefits management frameworks
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Advanced Excel and data analytic skills
