Central London (long-term remote working optional)

A US-headed financial services organisation is searching for a progression-focused, In-House Tax Manager. Reporting into the Head of Corporation Tax, the successful candidate will work within a mid-sized team of transfer pricing, indirect tax and tax policy specialists, while supporting in the ongoing management and development of one Senior Associate.

The scope of the opportunity is primarily compliance (oversight) and reporting (US GAAP and regional reporting standards) focused, however additionally draws on areas of tax policy/strategy and ad-hoc advisory. EMEA is the specific area of focus, however expanding operations promise to introduce a greater element of international work in future.

Overall, this makes an ideal first step from practice for the experienced Corporate Tax Manager who is interested to apply their compliance and reporting specialism in-house, before progressing to undertake increased advisory responsibilities.

The successful candidate:

- CTA/ACA qualification is essential.

- A demonstrable specialism in tax compliance, accounting and reporting essential (US GAAP preferred).

- Strong stakeholder management skills essential.

- Prior financial services experience is highly desirable.

- Post-qualified in-house experience is preferred.

- Prior experience supporting/mentoring juniors preferred
