Here at Pro-Tax we are proud to be partnering with a market leading indirect Tax disputes team who are well positioned within this Big 4 firm to support the full indirect taxes specialisms: VAT, Customs duties, excise duties as well as Environmental taxes.

Working cross functionally with a superb leadership team you will act and offer key advice to a number of high profile client across many sectors, ranging from tax appeals before the First-tier Tribunal and higher courts to judicial review and High Court claims for restitution. This well-connected team work closely with HMRC with ongoing investigations with a view to reaching a settlement.

Ideal candidate will be:-

    • UK qualified Solicitor/Barrister or qualified Solicitor from another common law jurisdiction
    • Proven litigation experience, ideally in one or more indirect taxes (VAT, customs and excise duty, environmental taxes)
    • Stakeholder & project management skill - both internally & externally
    • Instructing Counsel, including preparing Instructions to Counsel and Notes of Conference/Consultation
    • Multi case management
    • Team player
    • Strong writing and communications skills
