Business Analyst/Costs Engineer - Interim
London/Surrey or Birmingham

A global facilities management organisation is seeking an experienced costs/pricing analyst with experience of CCS/Crown Commercial frameworks or other NHS/public sector frameworks/bids
Your role - To actively participate in collaborative bid teams to develop winning solutions that meet our client's requirements and deliver profitable long-term cash flows through contract retention, contract extensions and new contract wins. Focusing specifically on hard services estimating, costing, commercial review and risk / opportunity analysis.
Ideally the Estimator should be experienced in public sector procurement and have strong commercial and contractual skills. A key requirement of the Estimator role will be initially reviewing bid documents / asset data to identify pricing requirements, any data gaps, specification and contractual issues that may impact costing, pricing and the bid as a whole.
The Estimator is the owner of all cost and pricing information for the bids they support and should be familiar with a number of FM related costing approaches such bottom up and Top down, different commercial models.
The Estimator should expect to take a lead role in estimating, costing and solution development on large single service bids and also to act in support, providing the hard services costings on multi-service bids.
The Estimator should be able to analyse large quantities of asset data, normalise and assess for gaps, raise clarifications, attend site visits and subsequently labour load based on informed assumptions, against a range of maintenance regimes. The estimator must also be able to identify and mitigate the risks associated with hard services bids. The Estimator will also be able to address in pricing elements, such as TUPE analysis and cost of change.
