Newly Qualified Tax Manager, In-House Fintech

Central London (long-term remote working optional)

A rapidly expanding fintech business will be interviewing newly CTA qualified professionals for an exciting Tax Manager opportunity, in-house. The position reports to an experienced Senior Tax Manager, working with a tax team of 5 (which sits within the wider finance function) and outsourced advisors.

The role has a corporate tax grounding with a good balance of compliance and advisory. The successful candidate will also gain exposure to indirect tax issues. While the position holds a UK focus, growth in pan-European and North American jurisdictions promises a progressive involvement with international matters.

This is an ideal first step in-house from practice, for the newly qualified CTA tax professional looking for commercial experience within a fast-paced environment and sociable team.

The successful candidate:

  • CTA qualification essential, likely newly qualified within a Big 4 or Top 10 professional practice.
  • Solid UK corporate tax compliance skillset essential. Experience in advising rapidly expanding businesses is highly advantageous.
  • Strong excel skills preferred, technological/systems aptitude is essential
  • Demonstrable interest in fintech/the financial services
  • European language skills are advantageous.
  • In-house/secondment experience advantageous.
