This role is to prepare the business for the impact of the changes being delivered but a HR Transformation Programme and to implement the organisation design developed in the Programme. You will provide a bridge between the projects and business users to ensure that activities are planned and completed to enable the business to implement the agreed change and realise the business benefits

This role provides leadership for the people change work-stream in support of the overall HR Change Programme and its projects. You will be accountant-able for the design and delivery of the elements of the people change work-stream outputs that will contribute to the delivery of the Project/Programme including OD, people change implementation, communications, training, knowledge transfers and change.

You will provide people and organisational change subject matter expertise and be responsible for working with the relevant HR and non-HR stakeholders to ensure that project outputs are fit for purpose and meet the requirements of the wider organisation.

Your main duties will be:

  • Creates the Global change and communications approach, methodology, framework and toolkit and is responsible for the integrity of the approach in the Regional and County implementation
  • Determines the change implications for each transforming HR project and creates an overall Change and OD plan
  • Holds the blueprint for design of the operating model for the SBU and ensures alignment between Regional/Country proposals
  • Takes ownership of the OD toolkit from the design team and develops supporting transition approach to prepare for countries for change
  • Applies knowledge of People/Organisational change and consultation strategy
  • Acts as an adviser to Regional Change Managers
  • Distils complex concepts and analysis into persuasive business case presentations
  • Manages risk and prepares mitigation tactics for risk and resistance
  • Reviews agreed corporate risk management protocols
  • Develops the communications and consultation plan, managing the flow of information between Programme and Regional/County to ensure it is aligned and integrated
  • Sets the vision and creates clarity for their people and organisation change area

Essential skills for the role:

  • Global/international experience
  • Strong experience in mobilising and delivering large scale organisational change
  • Experience of working in a Programme environment
  • Employees Relations in an unionised or public sector environment
  • Strong Change Management knowledge and experience
  • Experience on a large scale HR transformation programme
