Programme Manager (Transforming HR)
12 - 18 month FTC

?You will provide leadership for a large programme and take ownership for a major component of the largest global programmes. You will be responsible for leading a defined set of interdependent projects and associated business change activities. You will have primary responsibility for the successful delivery of the required outcomes, including the establishment of appropriate governance and assurance, monitoring progress, managing risks and issues and ensuring the business readiness for change

Your duties will include:

  • Programme leadership and management
  • In conjunction with the Programme Director and key stakeholder, develops and communicates a clear and compelling vision for the Programme and road map for change ensuring alignment with plans and wider policies
  • Lead the development and maintenance of the Programme Delivery Plan, aligned to wider corporate priorities and targets, to ensure the programme achieves agreed objectives/performance standards/value for money/quality targets to meet defined performance objectives or goals
  • Work closely with the regions to negotiate and agree realistic timetable and targets for the delivery of the programme

  • Ensure the programme is structured, staffed, resourced and motivated effectively
  • Oversee the effective achievement of the Programme Delivery and Evaluation Plan
  • Provides wider leadership Project Management activity through the line manager of individuals and teams
  • Develop appropriate quality assurance, reporting and evaluation procedures

To be considered for this role:

  • You will have a degree level qualification (or eqv) along with a professional programme management qualification (ie MSP, MPA, PMI etc)
  • Will have experience in a large scale HR transformation programme
  • Demonstrable experience of leading and successfully managing large (multi-million pounds) programmes for a multi-national organisation
  • This should include procuring and managing third part supplier arrangements
  • You are able to demonstrate experience of both the ability to plan, structure and manage the "hard scope" of a programme that delivers tangible outputs AND the "soft scope" of engaging people and managing effective change
