Pro-Legal are working closely with a leading national firm, who are looking for a Risk & Compliance Lawyer to join their Bristol office.
This is a strategic role addition, due to a member of the team retiring in a few months. This role will be varied and will cover a range of complaint, claims and conflicts work within the firm.
Experience dealing with complaints and claims is required for this role, however the Risk Director is happy to upskill those on the conflicts side.
They anticipate someone will have at least 5 years of post-qualification experience, as they will still have contact with clients when dealing with queries.
Our client is open to those coming from a Private Practice environment, or an in-house environment in a similar role, those coming from an insurance or financial services background would be well suited.
The person joining will become the owner of all the claims, complaints and conflicts in the team and they are looking for someone to join so they can go through a full handover before the other member retires.

The successful candidate is likely to have:
- 5+ years of post-qualification experience
- Qualified as a Solicitor in the UK
- Experience within Risk & Compliance
- Experience of dealing with complaints and claims
