Senior Commercial Finance Business Partner | 12 months FTC | £64,000 - £66,000 | London

For an organisation focused on transport safety, we are recruiting a Senior Commercial Finance Business Partner on a 12-month contract. Supporting the Director of Commercial and Business Development, this role will play a key part in analysing, reporting on and modelling revenue channels for the Executive Leadership team and Board. This role will lead on business case development, margin reporting, KPI mapping and commercial income modelling.

Main Duties:

  • Deliver annual and strategic commercial directorate budgets and forecasts
  • Modelling various revenue streams to produce insights and decision-making information
  • Drive robust and insightful MI for the Executive Leadership team
  • Shape and challenge the commercial strategy, driving margin
  • Partner Director of Commercial and Business Development in the provision of accurate and insightful reporting
  • Develop commercial business cases supporting the business development team with proposals and realistic assumptions
  • Challenge inefficient processes and data ambiguity and champion best-practice across system compliance, data integrity and ways of working

Person Specification:

  • CCAB qualified accountant with a strong background in commercially focused finance business partnering roles, supporting one or more non-finance leaders
  • Track record in delivering management information around budgets and commercial income drivers
  • First-rate communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent modelling, Excel and dashboard / KPI creation
