Our client, an executive non-departmental public body, is seeking a Talent Coordinator to support and administer their graduate, apprentice and work placement programmes. The role will also be responsible for the pastoral care of graduates, apprentices and work placement interns/candidates.

As a Talent Coordinator you will be

  • Providing pastoral care for graduates, apprentices and work placement candidates / interns, including giving advice and guidance on day-to-day challenges, performance issues and development needs
  • Managing the day to day running of the graduate, apprentice, work placement and internship programmes
  • Keeping data and records up to date as well as providing MI and reports
  • Co-ordinate engagement and networking events
  • Supporting the wider team on improving the design and structure of the graduate, apprentice, internship and work placement programmes
  • Work closely with the Skills Employment & Education Team (SEE) to support the administration of the Work Experience Programme

Experience required for a Talent Coordinator

  • Experience of implementing graduate and apprenticeship programmes
  • Experience in talent management and development - graduate, apprentice and work placement
  • Experience of managing and prioritising multiple activities / projects
  • Experience of working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • Communication skills - including writing briefs, reports, and presentations
  • Organisation and prioritisation skills - including managing multiple work-streams to time and quality requirements
  • Problem-solving skills - including identifying process improvements
  • Coaching / Mentoring skills - to assist programme participants to fully engage with programme activities
