One of the Big 4 practices, with a strong tax disputes, litigation, and controversy arm, is looking to appoint a Director as they navigate 2-3 years of strategic growth.
A sizeable business in its own right, the team have won work hand over fist for the last 12 months and expect that this environment will become busier as the HMRC reignites the investigations backlog.
Joining a business led by a well known and respected Partner, you'll have clear scope for growth to Partner as the business cases opens through growth of the portfolio.
You'll have responsibility for:
- Tax disputes and investigations to both HNW private clients and privately owned businesses
- COP 8 and COP 9 investigations
- HMRC disclosures
- Disclosures under the Liechtenstein facility (LDF)
- Tax tribunal
In line with growth plans, and as a Director, you'll be responsible for winning new business from a strong referral network, and would be expected to demonstrate a track record to this effect.
The preferred candidate will come from a reputable investigations business, either Big 4, Top 10, or boutique practice. Tax lawyers will be considered, and HMRC training is sought after but not essential.
