Technical & Training Audit Senior Manager




£70,000 - £90,000

An opportunity has arisen at a Top 20 firm for either an experienced Auditor or a current Technical & Training expert to join the team in an exciting and promising role. You will be joining a busy and strong technical compliance team, offering your services to the audit and accounts teams. There will be a varied and challenging workload on offer for you, as well as the opportunity to really build the role around you.

Details of the role

  • Responsible for firmwide technical training programme to the qualified members of the team
  • You will research any emerging technical issues and deliver training material and guidance where required
  • Supporting the audit and accounts technical query helpdesk to provide advice
  • Supporting the team on any UK GAAP, FRS 102 and IFRS issues
  • Working at national events with the wider team

What you'll need to succeed

  • You need to be either ACA or ACCA qualified
  • Ideally you will have strong presentation skills
  • Be a confident, self-starter and the ability to play a major part in the development of the department
  • Strong experience of UK GAAP, IFRS and FRS 102
  • Familiar with numerous accounts and audit software
