I am actively recruiting an Audit and Accounts Manager for an independent firm with an impressive and loyal client base. Having recently spoken with the Director, it is an exciting time to join the practice for an experienced Audit and Accounts Manager who can hit the ground running.

Punching above its weight for a firm of its size, clients include international companies with UK subsidiaries with turnovers over £120M across a range of sectors including:

• Financial Services
• Metal Industry
• Property
• Manufacturing

The Audit and Accounts Manager role will entail

• The audit season runs between April to October with around 11 large audits
• Acting at the technical go to person in the business
• Supporting Audit and Accounts Client Managers, mentoring, training and developing staff
• Minimal away work, (including Birmingham/ Gloucester)
• Audit clients from £5m-£120M

• Salary of up to £65k
• Discretionary bonus (good generally, 12% for example) £4k -£5k this year
• Off road parking near the office/short walk from the Northern Line
• 9am-5:30pm - early 5pm finish on a Friday
• Flexible/Hybrid Working
• 20 days holiday + 3-4 days extra over Christmas
• Paid Subscription/CPD

What you will need to be suitable in this Audit and Accounts Manager role:

• ACA or ACCA Qualification
• Recent UK accountancy practice experience
• Experience managing audit engagements from planning to completion
