I'm working, exclusively, with a Top 10 accounting practice who are looking to expand the resources within their London-based Global Mobility tax function.
Coming off consecutive years of double-digit growth, in part due to growth of the IAS (International Assignment Services) team, the business is looking for a seasoned Expatriate Tax Director to step up the task of helping lead the tax team, in this Partner role.
With an impressive Head of Tax and a strong Head of Global Mobility, the practice has achieved success in the growth of clients and the size of portfolios.
Their united international network, spread throughout more than 120 countries across the globe, has assisted them build strong client relationships with global businesses ranging from large OMBs to FTSE 350 / Fortune 500 companies.
Having worked with this progressive firm closely over the last 12 months, I've seen first hand the strong inter-business collaboration and relationships held amongst the senior leadership team. Coming off their best year, the team has set themselves some impressive targets for the medium term, which has resulted in the need of your services.
Primarily, you'll be working alongside the head of the IAS team, a passionate and focussed leader, to develop new business revenues for the team. This will involve using your network and initiative to engage with global business leaders on the value you can add.
You will be responsible for overseeing the larger global mobility unit, helping to build and manage the team - so it's essential that you're able to demonstrate the leadership qualities required.
Of course, you'd have a strong technical understanding of the tax regimes in foreign countries, however, a sincere understanding of the employer/employee demands that exist in this service.
The successful candidate will be rewarded with Partnership from day one, working alongside the larger group of leaders, with an obvious route to equity if you so wish.
