Financial Controller - Multi-Academy Trust - London

  • Have you worked for a Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) or Academy before or are you looking for your first post practice role?
  • Are you an experienced Financial Controller/Senior Financial Accountant?
  • Are you a fully qualified (CCAB accountant)?

Our Client has been providing an education for children for over 150 years are seeking a Financial Controller to join their team.

The role:

You will support the Finance Director in the delivery of all statutory reporting for the trust and maintain high standards on controls. You will also ensure that all financial systems are maintained, accurate and produce timely management information. This will include:

  • Statutory and regulatory accounting
  • Systems
  • Payroll
  • Financial control
  • Audit work for the committee
  • Systems maintainance and management
  • Leadership and management of the financial accounting team

To be considered for this role you will:

  • Be a (CCAB) fully qualified accountant
  • Have worked for an academy/Multi-Academy Trust (Essential)
  • Be an experienced Finance Manager/Financial Control
