Financial Planning Analyst: Up to £48,000 + Benefits London: Permanent

For a large international organisation, we are recruiting a Group Financial Planning Analyst. Reporting to the Group Planning Manager, the Group Financial Planning Analyst will support all planning activities, providing analysis, consolidation and insight. This role will develop commercially focused reports and will support the delivery of annual budgets / forecast and multi-year planning.

Main Duties:

  • Provide comprehensive financial planning and forecasting service to recipients of all financial information in the UK, Regions, and externally.
  • Support delivery of annual budgets/ forecasts and support multi-year planning
  • Develop excellent understanding of all MI and planning systems and processes
  • Design, agree and implement continual improvements to planning service aligning business needs and introducing innovations to the process
  • Support the production of MI which sets out clear understanding of all financial KPI's, products, services, contracts and other deliverables
  • Work with the UK and Global FP&A teams
  • Work closely with the Group Planning Manager and Planning Team to develop workbooks and financial guidance for 5-year planning
  • Consolidate workbooks and 5 year-planning data

Person Specification:

  • CCAB part or fully qualified
  • Excellent experience of financial planning cycles, short-term and long-term
  • Experience of 3 and 5-year forward planning
  • Experience from within a complex global organisation
  • Experience of developing and optimising SAP accounting and planning applications
  • Advanced Excel level, particularly modelling
