We are working closely with a Top 10 firm based in London who have seen an enormous growth in their Financial Advisory team over the last 12 months and are now actively recruiting for an Assistant Manager within the team. You will work closely with the Partners of the team and will come in with a clear progression route to become a Manager and then Senior Manager in the team in the future.
Details of the role
- Deliver on projects which focus on the application of technical accounting
- GAAP conversions
- Preparation of financial statements
- Controlling projects in relation to timescales, budgets and risk management procedures
- Providing support and coaching to the more junior members of the team
- Responsible for building and maintaining close client and colleague relationships at all times
What you'll need to succeed
- You need to be either ACA or ACCA qualified
- Experience of managing multiple projects at once
- Confidence in managing a large audit portfolio
- Experience working in an accounting advisory function (beneficial)
- Technical accounting experience and knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS and US GAAP
- A positive mindset, ability to manage and develop team members
