A London-based, independent practice has placed me on a retainer basis to find them an International Tax Director to join the team and help lead the business.
Led by an impressive Head of Tax and Head of International Corporate Tax, both ex-Big 4, the practice has invested significantly in the support and infrastructure of the team to ensure they provide leading tax advice.
A forward-thinking and entrepreneurial business, the Partnership team proactively ensure they continually engage with practice, lending their knowledge and technical expertise to the benefit of developing talent within.
Having come off a record year in 2017, the practice has identified the international tax market as an area for further development and growth, which is why they need you to help them.
Working closely with the Head of International Corporate Tax, you'll be exposed to a broad range of clients, providing sound advice on broad corporate tax matters.
Their clients range in size from large OMBs and SMEs, to multinational FTSE 100 organisations with complex tax structures and portfolios.
You'll be expected to engage directly with the clients and provide industry-leading advice in respect of changing tax regulations while overseeing a team of junior tax professionals below you.
In addition, you'll have the opportunity to grow your own book of business, actively seeking out areas of the market to grow the revenues of the business which will lend hand to your progression to Partner.

As the successful professional, you'll be able to demonstrate having worked on large accounts, applying your technical knowledge to complex portfolios.
You'll have a history of leading a team, responsible for managing and developing their knowledge and ability for the benefit of the business and their personal careers.
With a book of business to inherit resulting from a strong year on year growth, a following is not required, but an established network is essential for the success of the role.
