Are you frustrated with the lack of progression in your current role?
A client of ours, one that has recently acquired another mid-sized firm is looking to bring in a Part Qualified candidate into the Outsourcing team.
They have an interesting client base, which includes large, listed clients, as well as from a varied range of sectors including retail, entertainment, media, construction, financial services and many more.
Details of the role
- Main focus of the role is around monthly and quarterly management accounts preparation
- Once comfortable, reviewing of juniors work
- Posting month-end journals
- VAT and bookkeeping work
- Maintaining sales and purchase ledgers for clients
- Application of appropriate tax codes
- Liaising with HMRC when needed
- Working closely with other departments, including payroll
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience within a practice environment, including bookkeeping experience
- Ability to prepare management accounts for different businesses
- Ideally experience of Xero and Sage (Not essential)
- Ideally AAT qualified and studying towards your ACCA
- An approachable mindset
- Excellent client liaison ability
