We require an experienced Paralegal with a UK law degree, that has also completed the LPC (or equivalent) for a period of 6 months.
Due to the nature of the work they, knowledge and/or experience of public law matters and the grounds for judicial review would be a major advantage, therefore a candidate with existing public sector experience would be preferred.
You will be involved with reviewing and summarising consultation responses, with a view to ensuring that all key points have been accounted for and can be properly taken into account by other staff/decision makers, while also supporting the legal team in areas such as:
- Analysing and researching data
- Communicating with external counsel where appropriate
- General legal administrative tasks
The team operate in a very supportive and collaborative manner, therefore you will need to have excellent communicative skills.
You will have the opportunity to gain an insight to interesting areas of law - such as EU Law - that tend to open so many more doors to opportunities within the sector or, with organisations that operate in a similar manner.
