PMO Analyst (6 months FTC) circa. £40,000

For a large regulatory body with HQ in London, we're recruiting a PMO Analyst to report to the Programme Manager and be responsible for ensuring the adoption of (and adherence to) defined governance routines including coordination of regular project and programme reporting cycles. The PMO Analyst will support the tracking of programme deliverables and milestones, coordinate risks and issues and apply a level of intelligence and challenge to inputs received - adding value to the programme.

Main Duties:

  • Coordinate regular governance sessions - creating inputs and ensuring detailed notes are captured
  • Coordinate weekly reporting - providing challenge ahead of briefing the Programme Manager
  • Manage Programme RAID - identifying risks and issues for attention and escalation
  • Manage Decisions Log - ensure design and timetable are completed and outcomes communicated
  • Manage Lessons Learnt - attend project review sessions to share with wider team
  • Knowledge Champion - ensure key information is available within the team
  • Create best practice templates and continue to evolve and improve processes, standards and documents
  • Organise planning workshops
  • Administer Programme Plan using inputs from Project Managers
  • Track programme deliverables and support large review cycles

Person Specification:

  • Experience of programme coordination. administration
  • Experience of managing small projects / or exposure to full lifecycle delivery
  • Experience of working in a central PMO/project delivery environment
  • Excellent project management techniques including planning, scheduling, risk and issue management and change control
  • Ability to work across multiple projects, manage own time and deal with conflicting priorities
  • Experience of MS Project
