A world renowned professional membership body are recruiting for a Public Affairs Manager. This is a permanent role based in central London. The Public Affairs Manager will have the responsibility of managing and delivering public affairs strategies that enhance the organisation's prestige.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Public Affairs Manager will develop and sustain relationships with key industry stakeholders to be central to supporting the organisation's external affairs goals
  • The Public Affairs Manager will manage relationships with industry partners and will secure speakers for sector public affairs events to enhance engagement and support
  • As Public Affairs Manager you will need to present intelligence gathering, insight and analysis to lead and inform on industry trends
  • Project manage the organisation's annual Industry Awards event
  • Oversee the team's industry stakeholder data
  • Lead a continuous industry engagement meetings programme for the internal Policy & External Affairs department

Person Specification:

  • Must have experience of policy or public affairs industry work
  • Experience of working in a large professional membership body is highly desirable
  • Must have a strong demonstrable knowledge and experience of industry monitoring, intelligence gathering, project management and risk analysis
  • A strong passion for current affairs is highly desirable
  • Need to possess excellent stakeholder management and event management skills
