The Head of Legal is very supportive in terms of working conditions; you will always have the opportunity to work as part of a team but, the ability to handle a caseload of regulatory matters on your own is imperative.
The advice you will give will involve some commercial matters and, public law and judicial review matters within a regulatory capacity, which means the stakeholders you interact with will be varied, from people working within public bodies to those working within the private sector.
To be considered for the role, you will need:
- To be a qualified Solicitor or Barrister of England & Wales (or equivalent)
- Experience of competition law, litigation, human rights and regulatory law
- Excellence communication skills
Litigation experience would also be a major advantage but is not a prerequisite.
This opportunity will initially be on a 6 month basis, with the potential for a permanent role in the new annual budget.
