Technical Lead .NET Analyst, London £62,000 + Fantastic Benefits

For a nationwide regulator based in London, we are looking for a Technical Lead .NET Analyst to manage the Application and Web Team. The Technical Lead .NET Analyst will manage a team of 4 as well as outsourced partners to deliver the online strategy and bespoke Application requirements. The Technical Analyst will play a key role in architecting any business solution.

Main Duties:

  • IT owner of all tech solutions within the Business Applications and Web Domain - overseeing all configuration and customisation
  • Select partners for the delivery of projects
  • Line manage a team of internal and 3rd party developers to deliver projects and carry out 2/3rd line support for Applications and Digital Web issues
  • Own the target architecture and transitional phasing for the Business Applications and Digital Domain
  • Drive projects and changes through all stages of the life cycle including requirements capture, architecture, design, development, integration, testing and transition
  • Ensure technical alignment with target architecture
  • Drive suppliers to ensure that bug fixes, changes and projects meet business requirements
  • Work with suppliers to design, run and monitor software performance tests for the purposes of correcting errors, and debugging
  • Review monitor and evaluate application software

Person Specification:

  • Strong Development experience including ASP.NET., C#, Web Services and Client Programming Languages
  • Strong database experience including SQL Server with hands-on development background
  • Strong leadership / mentoring skills
  • Experienced people manager
  • Agile software development and test-driven development methodologies experience
  • Familiarity with industry best practices and software design patterns with the development and application of policies, standards and procedures
