The company needed a Tax Manager who was not only technically competent but had the ability to immerse themselves into the wider business at all levels.
After meeting with the CFO (Line Manager) and existing Tax Director to discuss and fully understand the role, we decided to move forward on an exclusive basis as the requirement was very niche and we wanted to ensure we were working as an extension of the business and selling the opportunity in the right way.
We then set about mapping the property and real-estate market in London to identify all possible candidate matches for the role. After interviewing people at length we shortlisted and met with six candidates that we presented to the business for interview.
After presenting our shortlisted al six candidates were interviewed with three of them moving onto the second stage before being whittled down to the perfect match for the role.
The candidate joined the business and hit the ground running as required and nearly two years on he is still thoroughly engaged and loving the role!
