I am working with a reputable mid-tier accountancy firm, with a strong presence in Manchester and a commitment to delivering exceptional service across various sectors, who are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Audit and Accounts Partner to join their growing team. As an Audit and Accounts Partner, you will be instrumental in managing a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring the highest standards of audit and accountancy services, and leading a talented team of professionals. This role demands an individual with comprehensive industry and regional knowledge, as well as strong commercial acumen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the audit and accounts processes for a varied portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Plan, execute, and complete audit and accountancy engagements, effectively managing risk and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, offering strategic advice and identifying opportunities for business growth.
- Lead and mentor audit and accounts teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Collaborate with fellow partners and senior management to support and enhance the firm's strategic direction and growth initiatives.
- Keep updated with industry trends and regulatory changes, ensuring the firm's services remain relevant and competitive.
Qualifications/Experience Required:
- ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with Responsible Individual (RI) status.
- Proven ability to manage a portfolio of clients and lead successful audit and accountancy engagements.
- Extensive technical knowledge of audit and financial reporting standards.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to build and sustain strong client relationships.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience in mentoring and developing team members.
- Strong commercial awareness with a strategic mindset, able to identify and capitalise on business opportunities.
