An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Associate Director to join a leading accounting firm that is fuelling the growth of ambitious businesses. With a fast-paced environment and a clear mission to be the UK's leading tech-enabled accounting firm for SMEs, this firm is looking for a dedicated professional to join their team.

Your role as an Audit Associate Director:
- As Associate Director, you will take full responsibility for managing your own client portfolio, working closely with partners and listed clients to deliver exceptional results.
- You'll oversee audits from start to finish, ensure compliance with listing requirements, and act as a key advisor to senior stakeholders.
- You'll also develop and manage relationships with CFOs, CEOs, and boards, and support the growth of the firm by identifying new business opportunities.
- Responsible for managing a client portfolio, including listed companies.
- Planning and delivering audits on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.
- Providing expert advice on technical matters, particularly in more complex regulatory environments.
- Acting as the primary contact for senior stakeholders, fostering strong client relationships.
- Managing, mentoring, and training team members, ensuring their ongoing development.
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to drive growth.
What you'll need to succeed:
- ACA or ACCA qualified with deep technical expertise.
- Existing experience of managing a portfolio of Listed clients.
- Strong communication and influencing skills, especially with senior stakeholders.
- Familiarity with the reporting and compliance requirements for listed companies.
- Excellent project management abilities, ensuring the successful delivery of multiple projects.
- A proactive approach, with a willingness to get hands-on with tasks when needed.
- A passion for feedback and continuous learning.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid environment, balancing remote and office-based work.
