Our client is a prominent accountancy firm with a significant presence in the UK, renowned for providing exceptional service across various industries. They are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Audit Partner to join their team in London, focusing on clients within the Life Sciences sector. As an Audit Partner, you will be pivotal in managing a diverse portfolio of Life Sciences clients, maintaining the highest standards of audit quality, and guiding a talented team of professionals. This role demands deep industry expertise, strong commercial insight, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the audit process for a diverse portfolio of Life Sciences clients, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Plan, execute, and complete audit engagements, managing risk and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, offering strategic advice and identifying opportunities for business growth.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to audit teams, promoting continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Collaborate with other partners and senior management to contribute to the firm's strategic direction and growth.
  • Stay informed about developments in the Life Sciences sector and changes in relevant regulations, ensuring the firm's services are up-to-date and competitive.

Qualifications/Experience Required:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with Responsible Individual (RI) status.
  • Extensive experience working with clients in the Life Sciences sector.
  • Proven track record of managing a portfolio of clients and leading successful audit engagements.
  • Strong technical knowledge of audit and financial reporting standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in mentoring and developing team members.
  • Commercially astute with a strategic mindset and the ability to identify and capitalise on business opportunities.
