Your role as an Audit Senior:

  • Offering a split of 90% Audit and 10% Accounts, you will be working directly with the senior members of staff to ensure that audits are correctly lead from planning through to completion.
  • Preparation of statutory accounts and consolidated accounts under FRS 102, IFRS and FRS 101.
  • You will project manage the audit process, whilst liaising with clients and keeping them informed on progress.
  • You will suggest and create recommendations for improvements following audit fieldwork.
  • Supervise the junior members of the team and provide training on technical audit and accounting issues.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • You will be ACA/ACCA Qualified or a finalist.
  • A minimum of 2.5 years' experience within a similar sized or larger UK accountancy practice.
  • Existing knowledge of CCH, Sage, QuickBooks, Xero etc would be desirable.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to guide and mentor junior members of the team,
