Our client, an exciting and growing firm in the city, is looking to grow their business services team by bringing in a new Senior Accountant to the team, to work closely with the Director of the team on their own portfolio.

You will be reviewing work of the team, including management accounts, VAT and will have some stat accounts work to complete also. It would be beneficial if you had worked within an outsourcing department.

Details of the role

• Preparation and review of quarterly and monthly management accounts
• Managing your own portfolio of clients from various sectors
• Preparing and reviewing VAT returns
• Year-end accounts preparations
• Assisting with development of juniors in the team
• Regular liaison with HMRC

What you'll need to succeed

• Ideally, you will be a fully qualified accountant, however, experience is just as important
• You should have worked within a business services/outsourcing team
• Experience of working with Xero, Dext and other cloud based systems
• Must have management accounts preparation experience
• Knowledge of VAT preparations essential
• Ability to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders
