Corporate Tax Manager - Real Estate/ REIT's

The Role:
An experienced Senior Manager - Real Estate Corporate Tax to join the expanding Real Estate Corporate Tax Team. In this role, you will manage the corporate tax affairs of a diverse and growing portfolio of real estate clients, focusing on Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on tax compliance and consultancy projects for real estate clients.

  • Manage tax structuring, due diligence assignments, and transactional work.

  • Provide expert guidance on REIT Financial Statements, Corporate Interest Restriction, and Property Income Distributions (PID) calculations.

  • Deliver tax planning solutions, including capital allowances, R&D tax credits, and s455 tax planning.

  • Oversee and develop junior team members through delegation, coaching, and training.

  • Work closely with Partners and Directors to drive business development and identify growth opportunities.

About You:
We are looking for a proactive, commercially minded individual with:

  • Strong experience in real estate corporate tax compliance and advisory work.

  • Expertise in advising REITs, large property groups, Real Estate Funds, and non-resident landlords.

  • Excellent communication skills, confidence in liaising with clients, and the ability to establish credibility at all levels.

  • CTA and/or ACA qualification (preferred).

  • The ability to problem-solve, manage multiple projects, and work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
