FS VAT Manager

If you have experience of FS VAT and Indirect Tax, especially in either Funds or Insurance and you are ACA or CTA qualified, this is a role which offers plenty of advisory work, client portfolio ownership and progression. Responsibilities:

• Acting as the day-to-day point of contact for clients and always practising the principles of premium customer service, responding to queries efficiently.
• Providing VAT consultancy services to all clients in relation to indirect taxes to ensure the provision of the best advice.
• Acting in a supervisory capacity to more junior members of the VAT team, including reviewing work, providing training, supporting development and undertaking regular career conversations.
• Ensuring VAT quality as directed by the Director, and assisting with internal and external quality assurance, ensuring any actions are completed in line with the firm's professional standards.
• Maintaining an awareness of the firm's specialist services and publications to ensure effective client service.
• Developing an advanced level of technical knowledge through appropriate reading and courses and an awareness of the firm's services, brochures and publications.
