Senior Tax Manager - Africa Region

My client is seeking an experienced International Senior Tax Manager with a strong background in the energy, natural resources, or extractive industry, specifically within emerging markets. The successful candidate will oversee tax matters across the African region, with a primary focus on dispute resolution and managing relationships with tax authorities.

Key Requirements:

• Extensive experience in the extractive industry within emerging markets.
• Proven expertise in tax dispute resolution and authority liaison.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a complex, multi-jurisdictional environment.

Experience & Technical Skills Required:

* Proven working experience in a similar role within industry.
* Minimum 7 years' experience in tax, either with a professional services company or within industry
* Relevant experience working on large, multi-discipline construction, engineering or mining industry projects
* Strong technical acumen & knowledge of country specific and international legislation, reporting standards & compliance requirements

Remuneration: A competitive package with a base salary of £120,000 - £140,000 per year + Bonus and Benefits
