Are you a VAT or Indirect Tax specialist looking for an exciting new challenge where you will be more interactive with your clients? Arguably the strongest VAT team in the midlands is now seeking a personable and ambitious Indirect Tax Manager to join their growing Birmingham office.

As the VAT Manager you will become the main point of contact for VAT issues for their most prestigious clients and will be a key advisor on behalf of the entire firm breaking down highly technical UK and European indirect tax issues in layman's terms. As a key senior member of the VAT team you will support the less experienced VAT executives with their compliance work and will work across the other tax teams as well as keeping the VAT Director and Partner abreast on any developments with new clients. You will also gain the opportunity to take an active involvement in prospecting new clients and networking throughout Birmingham and the wider Midlands to attract new clients as well as embarking on some exciting new marketing initiatives.

To be considered for this rare opportunity which is paying above market rate salary bandings, you will have acquired at least 3 years' experience specifically within VAT or Indirect Tax and will either be at Manager status or on your way. You will have strong technical skills supported by an approachable and friendly manner regarding your client handling skills. In return you will be joining a friendly team environment and will be given the opportunity to further develop your VAT advisory skills with an established international name.
