This global retail business with some instant recognisable brands requires an International Tax Senior Manager to team up with their in-house tax function to cover both the UK & EMEA regions. As you will be working for such a large and complex organisation this role will suit someone who is always keen to face numerous challenges in the work environment.

The role will be responsible for the regional management of all income tax compliance, income tax provision, transfer pricing, tax audits and tax planning for the firms' operations in EMEA the regions. This role will support the business on a broad range of issue as well as support various EMEA regions, working closely with their 'heads of' to ensure the smooth process and flow of the tax reporting function.

The EMEA corporate tax team will support the business through transformation and therefore you as will become an integral component of the in-house tax function.

Responsibilities include:

• Income tax compliance and reporting - working closely the operation teams to be 'best in class'.
• International tax - including some Transfer Pricing projects
• Ongoing Tax planning and strategy - working closely with the global management teams
• Review of the global tax risks for each region and brand performance
• Preparation of tax numbers and submissions for periodic budgeting and forecasting cycles.

The ideal Tax Manager will:

• Hold a tax qualification with 4 years' + PQE
• Coming from a Big 4 / Top 10 consulting firm at Senior Manager level
• Or - working in a similar FMCG / Retail business who is keen to set up to Manager level
• Have experience in tax reporting and compliance
• Have the ability to think like a 'tax business partner'
• Prior experience reporting to a US-headquartered public company.
• Have UK Corporation Tax experience
