We have worked closely with this firm for a number of years now, a firm that has won numerous awards over the past few years and have consistently hired very strong talent.
They are on the lookout to expand their Business Services department by bringing in a qualified accountant to focus on the management accounts aspect of their clients. You will work closely with the Director of the department, reporting directly in and will be supervising juniors, liaising with clients and looking to progress your career upwards.
Details of the role
- Reporting into the Head of Department (Business Services)
- Managing a varied portfolio of clients from a range of different sectors
- Reviewing management accounts and VAT returns for the team
- VAT returns - preparation and submission
- Developing the more junior members of the team
- Element of year-end accounts preparation
What you'll need to succeed
- You should hold a relevant qualification, either ACA, ACCA, AAT or equivalent
- Ideally you will have experience of Xero, Sage and Dext
- Management accounts preparation/reviewing skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally
- An ambitious mindset, keen to progress your career
