Your new role:
As an R&D Manager in the Incentives & Reliefs team, you'll work alongside senior managers and directors to deliver Research & Development tax relief, Patent Box, and creative industry reliefs claims for a diverse client base.
You'll lead technical client meetings, review claim documentation, and oversee junior staff - all while helping shape one of the most dynamic and forward-thinking teams in the business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a portfolio of R&D clients and overseeing claim workflows
  • Conducting technical client interviews and producing case study reports
  • Preparing and reviewing R&D and Patent Box claim calculations
  • Ensuring compliance with HMRC and institute guidance
  • Providing on-the-job training, mentorship, and performance feedback to junior team members
  • Collaborating closely with managers and directors to deliver best-in-class client outcomes


To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • CTA, ACA, ACCA, CA or equivalent qualification
    (or a technical background in engineering, software, or natural sciences)
  • Proven experience in tax incentives and reliefs
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience managing or mentoring junior team members
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly Excel
