Our client provides R&D tax relief consultancy to leading innovative companies in the Science, technology and manufacturing sectors. As part of an ongoing programme of expansion they are looking to appoint a Technical Consultant to join their successful team.

The Technical Consultant is a key role for the business, and your main focus will be to working with their clients to complete Technical and Financial reports detailing areas of compliance in support of claims for corporation tax relief under the HMRC R&D Tax Credit Relief scheme.

The successful candidate will have technical expertise (ideally innovative) in one or more of the following areas: Software Development, Manufacturing, Mechanical / Electronic Engineering or Information Technology.

You will have sound experience in a tax/professional services, consulting environment and naturally have excellent client-facing skills. Inquisitive and process-driven you will have good report-writing and numeracy skills and be comfortable interpreting financial accounts.
