Are you an experienced Assistant R&D Manager or R&D Manager looking for an exciting new challenge? My client is seeking a proactive individual to join their R&D tax team, working with a diverse range of clients across multiple sectors. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of R&D tax projects, delivering technical expertise and building strong client relationships.
The Role:
As an R&D Tax Manager, you will collaborate closely with senior staff to lead the preparation and delivery of R&D tax claims, ensuring full compliance with UK R&D tax legislation. You will be responsible for managing client engagements, providing expert advice, and helping clients navigate the complexities of R&D tax relief.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with R&D, corporate tax, audit, and accounts teams to ensure seamless delivery of R&D claims.
- Support and attend client meetings, effectively presenting services and identifying opportunities for growth.
- Lead the preparation of R&D tax relief claims, ensuring compliance with BEIS guidelines and HMRC standards.
- Draft and review technical project descriptions for R&D claims.
- Conduct interviews with clients' technical and finance teams to identify qualifying R&D activities and expenses.
- Manage R&D projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction.
- Assist in responding to HMRC inquiries and managing client relationships.
- Foster cross-discipline collaboration within the firm to support business development.
