What You'll Be Doing:
As a Senior Audit Advisor, you'll be the go-to expert for complex investigations, helping teams dig into some of the most challenging and high-profile cases. Here's what your day-to-day could look like:
- Spotting Audit Red Flags: Identifying non-compliance with auditing standards and regulations.
- Investigative Support: Working with case teams, forensic accountants, and lawyers to guide investigations.
- Audit File Reviews: Going deep into complex audit files and firm-wide policies to find any issues.
- Reporting: Drafting clear reports that explain tricky auditing concepts to non-accounting folks.
- Expert Insight: Offering your expert judgement on serious audit breaches and helping case teams navigate investigations.
- Challenging Judgements: Assessing the decisions made by your fellow audit professionals and ensuring the highest standards are met.
What You Bring to the Table:
- RI Status & Audit Expertise: You've got at least director-level experience, with a strong background in auditing highly complex engagements.
- Tech-Savvy: You're great at explaining complicated audit and accounting concepts to people without a finance background.
- Problem-Solver: You can handle big, complex cases, think on your feet, and deliver accurate, high-quality work with minimal supervision.
- Project Management Skills: You're a master of managing your time and keeping investigations on track.
- Strong Communicator: You know how to ask tough questions and deliver insights that make a difference.
