An ideal progression opportunity for someone seeking to move from their current Tax Associate role. Tax Litigation and Disputes focused for a global leader.
If you have experience advising clients in the Financial Services sector this is a plus, however training a ongoing support will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
* Management of Ongoing Matters: Oversee and manage ongoing cases, liaise with HMRC and Tribunals, maintain and develop client relationships, and cultivate connections with new clients.
* Expert Advice: Produce detailed written advice for clients and draft responses to client correspondence.
* Collaboration with Counsel: Prepare Instructions to Counsel, Notes of Conference/Consultation, and key documentation such as Directions, Notices of Appeal, and witness statements.
* Knowledge Sharing: Present case law and technical updates to our Financial Services tax practice and at client events.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Exceptional Communication: Demonstrated excellence in both written and verbal communication.
* Litigation Experience: A solid background in litigation is essential.
* Project Management: Proven experience in managing projects and cases effectively.
* Technical Expertise: Outstanding technical skills in tax matters.
* Independent Worker: The ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Professional Qualification: A Legal Qualification (or an international equivalent) or equivalent work experience is required. International candidates with relevant experience in their home country are also encouraged to apply.
