Are you a qualified Tax Manager who would be excited by the opportunity to join an iconic British company based in London?
I've been exclusively mandated on a first time tax hire for a company in the Real Estate sector.
In recent years the group has expanded internationally, and tax affairs have become more complex meaning that there's now a requirement for an in-house tax expert.
This is an exciting role offering a "blank canvas" to put your own stamp on and wide exposure to the business's varied tax demands.
With the company being involved with diverse projects globally no one day will be alike.

The ideal candidate:
- Ideally CTA qualified with 3-5 years post qualified experience
- Inquisitive and commercial mindset, that is
- Confident to develop key working relationships and willing to be involved with more aspects that fall under the tax umbrella.
Utilising the established network of tax advisors based both in the UK and overseas, this role will be responsible for several areas including the following:
Liaising with our UK tax advisors and managing the UK tax computation and tax return process. Some of the larger items in the computation include corporate interest restriction, double tax relief, capital allowances and RDEC.
Calculation of corporation tax instalments Assistance with restructuring activities
Liaising with our overseas tax advisors and ensuring that corporate income tax and VAT / GST compliance for overseas subsidiaries and branches is up to date.
Utilising local tax advisors to research international tax rules affecting projects and feeding these results back to the business - including the finance, legal and commercial teams.
Draft and/or review transfer pricing reports and update / conclude inter-company agreements based on their outcomes.
Manage tax exemption processes for various jurisdictions.
Liaise with the wider group on VAT issues affecting projects.
