A global insurance brand is recruiting for a Corporate Tax Manager to join their team in London. Reporting to the Senior Tax Manager, the successful candidate will collaborate within a high-profile, collegiate tax team with strong record of professional development and promoting from within.

This opportunity is focused on managing the UK corporate tax compliance and reporting lifecycle (incl. CbCR & CIR) for the group and UK subsidiaries. Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation and delivery of consolidated group tax reporting
  • Corporation tax technical analyses, leading on related projects and queries
  • Liaise with HMRC, advisors and internal, non-tax stakeholders as a key point of contact for direct tax issues
  • Keeping abreast of legislative tax developments and proactively assessing impact on UK direct tax affairs
  • Monitoring and continually optimising key control processes and governance frameworks for the UK and international operation
  • Managing and developing one junior member of staff

This makes a wonderful opportunity for the recently qualified tax professional from a Big 4/Top 10 FS corporate tax team who is looking to take their career in-house at Manager level.

What we are looking for on a CV:

  • ACA/CTA qualification (or nearing completion)
  • Strong knowledge of UK corporate and international tax issues
  • Strong background in UK direct tax compliance and reporting
  • Awareness of wider taxes (experience with indirect taxes considered an advantage)
  • Experience within the financial services
  • The right to work in the UK is required for this position
