Tax Technology Manager / Senior Manager

If you are a tax professional who derives more enjoyment from achieving efficiency and improvements to tax processes, via technology, than from the tax work itself, this role could be for you. If you feel you could help a leading accounting firm to improve its use of technology and you would enjoy training others, please apply.
The Role will include:
- Working with teams around the firm to develop tools and identify where technology can be applied to tax work.
- Developing and delivering training and guidance on new systems and processes.
- Working with internal stakeholders, including IT and suppliers to implement new technology solutions.
- Developing the tax intranet and knowledge base.
- Supporting other National Tax initiatives as needed.
You
The successful candidate will act as a key interface between tax and IT teams, so needs the ability to understand requirements from each team. They should have:
- Strong tax skills (ATT or equivalent) and a passion for technology, with the curiosity to explore the potential of new technologies to improve the way we work.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and be confident to work with individuals at all levels throughout the firm, in person and virtually.
- Excellent technology skills, including MS Excel. SharePoint and PowerApps experience would be beneficial and highly regarded.
- Previous experience designing and delivering training, and/or previous project management experience would be desirable but not essential.
- Working as part of a small team, the successful individual will need to be self-starting and able to balance priorities across multiple projects effectively.
