Technical Audit & Accounts Semi Senior

What the role entails:

  • Provide technical support and guidance to staff regarding UK GAAP, IFRS, and ISA requirements.
  • Aid staff in utilising CaseWare (audit and accounts software) and Inflo (data analytics software).
  • Identify and implement improvements to firm processes in audit and accounts.
  • Contribute to the production of technical guidance materials such as bulletins, technical notes, and e-shots
  • Design and deliver in-house training sessions for Partners and staff.
  • Manage the ICAEW Annual Return and other compliance tasks.
  • Participate in the annual ethics audit process.

What they need from you:

  • Currently ACA qualified or actively pursuing ACA/ACCA certification.
  • Holds or working towards the audit qualification (Candidates in progress are expected to engage in audit work to achieve this qualification).
  • Possesses a minimum of a 2:2 undergraduate degree from a university.
  • Demonstrates external audit experience.
  • Exhibits the ability to analyse complex issues and arrive at clear, well-supported conclusions.
  • Shows a willingness to expand technical knowledge.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills and the capacity to foster trusted relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Displays strong organisational skills to effectively manage high workloads.
  • Produces high-quality work and displays an eagerness to continuously enhance technical knowledge.
  • Capable of cultivating and maintaining positive internal working relationships.
  • Passionate about leveraging technology and proficient in using audit software.
