The role
Our client's evolving transfer pricing team is looking for an experienced Transfer Pricing manager to further expand their transfer pricing service line offering.
Ideally you will have a solid foundation of providing transfer pricing advice across a variety of industries and sectors but have a specialism in financial transactions and asset management.
The role has arisen due to growth - an increasing demand for transfer pricing services from the firm's growing portfolio of international entrepreneurial clients requiring transfer pricing solutions for financial transactions and an expanding client base of asset managers. Additionally, you should have practical experience in advising on the UK's transfer pricing legislation for debt and HMRC's guidance on thin capitalisation, agreement of ATCAs and a sound knowledge of the UK's Corporate Interest Restriction legislation. Candidates who also have a broad knowledge of international corporate tax principles will find this a rewarding role.
The responsibilities
- Work with the team and the transfer pricing director to deliver (mainly) transfer pricing advice and transfer pricing documentation projects,
- Work with the transfer pricing director and tax partners to grow the transfer pricing service line offering in asset management and financial transactions, being jointly engaged in building our pipeline of opportunities,
- Assist with proposals, budgets and developing new work streams for transfer pricing both internally and externally,
- Proactively manage the delivery of transfer pricing solutions in respect of asset management and financial transactions to our client base, including multi-territory projects,
- Work with the team and clients to understand the commercial aspects of the client,
- Proactively manage the projects to meet internal and external deadlines,
- Train, coach and develop the junior members of the transfer pricing team,
- Build internal and external networks,
- Lead on the financial management of your portfolio,
- Work with a network of specialists worldwide across our international network.
