Are you an experienced Trusts professional looking for your next step in a dynamic and supportive team? We are working with a well-established firm seeking a Trusts Manager or Senior Manager to join their growing team in Milton Keynes.

This is a fantastic opportunity to manage an interesting and varied portfolio of UK resident and charitable trusts. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance, mentoring team members, and providing high-level advisory support on trust and estate matters, including Inheritance Tax planning. You will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of annual accounts and tax compliance, ensuring all key deadlines are met. Additionally, you will review work prepared by junior team members, offering training and guidance to help them develop their skills.

Beyond compliance, this role will also involve providing advisory support on complex trust and tax matters, including Inheritance Tax. You will work closely with tax, accounts, and financial planning teams to ensure a joined-up approach when serving clients. There will also be opportunities to develop expertise in charitable trusts, probate work, and estate accounts. You will be expected to monitor budgets, track chargeability, and prepare fee notes accordingly.

To be successful, you'll need:

• CTA and/or STEP qualified, or working towards a STEP qualification.
• A strong understanding of trusts and their tax implications is essential, along with excellent communication, organisational, and team management skills.
• The ability to work independently, take initiative, and build strong client relationships will also be key.
