US/UK Tax Senior

US/UK Tax Senior - London (2 days per week in the office)

This Top 15 Accountancy Practice are seeking an experienced US Tax Senior to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in US tax laws and regulations, tax planning, compliance and client management. As a Tax Senior, you will work on a portfolio of US clients and be involved in tax projects, provide strategic tax advice, be involved in compliance processes, and foster strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities
*Work on a portfolio of US clients: be involved all aspects of the tax compliance and wider relationship management.
*Prepare and review US tax returns.
*Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing proactive tax advice and addressing their needs in a timely and professional manner.
*Support Director in providing market-leading advice to US connected clients in the UK.
*Ability to manage workload to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
*Provide technical guidance and training to more junior staff.
*Work collaboratively with the wider tax team.

Skills & expertise
*US Enrolled Agent (EA) is not essential but preferred.
*Previous experience in US tax compliance and advisory services, in owner managed businesses, personal tax, partnerships and corporate tax, but not required in all areas.
*UK tax technical knowledge is preferred but not required.
*In-depth knowledge of US tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve tax issues.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and team members at all levels.
