Accounts/ Audit Senior - Covenrty - up to £35,000

  • Are you an experienced Accounts Associate looking for a role where you can really make an impact?
  • Do you thrive in a close-knit, friendly firm where everyone knows your name - but where the work is as interesting and varied as any mid-tier practice?
  • If you're looking for genuine variety, client contact, and the chance to grow in a supportive team, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.

What's Great About This Accounts & Audit Senior Role:

  • Variety of work: You'll get involved with a wide range of clients across different industries - from local owner-managed businesses to growing corporate groups.

  • Balance and flexibility: hybrid working, and an environment that understands you have a life outside of work.

  • Collaborative culture: The team is professional but down-to-earth. Regular socials, charity events, and a genuine sense of belonging are part of the culture.

  • Progression and growth: The firm has ambitious plans, so there's real scope to develop and make your mark as the practice continues to expand. There is no red tape around your development.

This is a firm that combines the technical expertise and client base of a larger practice with the personal, people-first feel of a smaller one.

Your Role as Accounts & Audit Senior:

You'll play a key role in the audit and accounts team, taking the lead on audit fieldwork and supporting managers with planning and completion. When audit work eases off, you'll assist with accounts preparation, corporation tax computations, and management accounts, giving you great variety throughout the year.

You'll liaise directly with clients and ensure high standards of accuracy and professionalism at every stage. The role will suit someone from a small or mid-sized practice who enjoys both the technical side of audit and the client-facing nature of practice life.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

You'll be ACA or ACCA qualified (or close to it), or qualified by experience, with at least two years' experience leading audits. You'll have a good understanding of accounting standards and audit procedures and be confident working with a range of accounting software.

Just as importantly, you'll be:

  • Positive, professional, and reliable - someone colleagues and clients can depend on.

  • Diligent, methodical, and detail-oriented, with a calm and composed approach.

  • Naturally client-focused, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A team player who enjoys mentoring junior staff and contributing to a friendly office culture.

What Next:

If you're ready to join a firm where your work is valued, your ideas are heard, and your development matters, we'd love to hear from you.
