Our Charity Partner
Child Bereavement UK
In 2023, we have chosen to support Child Bereavement UK, an amazing charity that helps families rebuild their lives when a child grieves, or a child dies. This charity is extremely close to our hearts, especially to one of our Recruitment Consultants who was supported by CBUK after the loss of her 9yo brother following a tragic skiing accident in 2007.
Over the next 12 months we will be working hard here at Pro to reach our £7000 fundraising target. Firstly, we shall donate £10 from every placement we make at Pro. We will also set ourselves a series of challenges that will involve mental agility, fitness, time, and effort in order to raise money and collect donations.
This charity runs solely on fund raising and they need as much help as we can give! Lean more about our journey with Child Bereavement UK via our JustGiving page - whilst you're there, we would greatly appreciate any donations made towards this fantastic cause
Our Charity Ethos
Charity is a large part of our ESG strategy and the fundraising activities are largely driven by our team. Supporting our community and causes that are close to our hearts is important to all of us here at Pro.
We have a dedicated Charity Committee who get involved in organising and raising awareness of our upcoming fundraising activities, inviting the team and local community to get involved in a range of events.
Compassion, empathy and a pro-active approach is in the DNA of everyone we employ here at Pro, so it comes very naturally for our teams to help people. In the past we have prepared and cooked a 4 course Christmas lunch where the homeless were waited on the minute they walked through the door in a warm and welcoming church that was decorated by us beautifully. We have taken toiletries for young women and children to local shelters. We also make regular donations to our local food and clothing banks, as well as running a quarterly blood donation drive.

Our CSR commitment is equally as important to our workplace-based decisions.Pro focus on improving the rights and wellbeing of your teams; reviewing issues including remuneration, recruitment, induction, health and safety, working conditions, diversity and training closely.
We encourage sustainable and environmentally friendly buildings and operations. This ranges from big items, like the recycling of paper, printer cartridges and batteries throughout our sites, through to the smaller details, like serving fair trade tea and coffee.
Ethics & Policies
Pro makes it our business to create a fair, diverse and inclusive working landscape. Read out full and detailed DEI commitment here
We offer virtual and paperless meetings where possible and will help organisations we work with develop a stronger CSR initiative to support their EVP.
We work in an office which has joined forces with Open Energy to purchase green energy in an attempt to halt deforestation and tackle climate change, as well as recycling, we also employ energy-saving tactics, such as motion-sensor lighting, which ensures lights are only on when the corresponding office space is in use.
Our people are our most important resource. We want them to feel good about their work and encourage them to support and engage with charities to make a difference. We get involved. Pro offers annual ‘CSR’ days to our employees, which means they have our support and paid leave to fundraise, volunteer or raise awareness for our corporate charity partner.
